Calabria is Italy’s primary producer of chillies, and this spicy little pepper is known as the Little Devil thanks to its high heat.
Calabrian Chilli is used commonly in southern Italy, it is used in sauces and served with cold cuts and preserves. It is the perfect ingredient to spice up plain dishes like grilled vegetables. In Calabria, these peppers are added to boiling oil used for frying potatoes to give the finish product a nice kick.
