    Uses

    Aleppo Pepper is used to marinate meat or fish, offering a good alternative to paprika or traditional chilli powder. In Middle Eastern countries Aleppo Pepper is also often offered to guests for use as a spicy seasoning on salads or cheese.

    Pairs deliciously with:

    Hummus, Dips, & Spreads, Roasted Vegetables, Grilled Beef or Lamb, Yogurt Marinated Chicken Kebabs

  • Origin & History

    This pepper is named after the city in Syria where it was originally produced. This mild chilli is traditionally harvested at full maturity and partially sun-dried before being seeded and cut with salt. The peppers are then doused in sunflower oil to preserve their bright red colour before being dried a second time.
